Not long ago, events were defined by physical presence. Conference halls, exhibition centres, hotel ballrooms, these were the beating heart of the industry. Success was measured by attendance numbers, packed agendas, and the energy in the room. Audio-visual support, while important, was often seen as a supporting act rather than the main driver of experience.

Then technology began to reshape expectations. Projection turned into immersive LED environments. Basic PA systems evolved into precision-engineered soundscapes. Lighting shifted from functional to atmospheric storytelling. Events became less about simply delivering information and more about creating moments people remember.

The real turning point came when digital integration accelerated. Live streaming, hybrid formats, and real-time audience interaction redefined what an “event” could be. Suddenly, the audience was no longer limited by geography. The industry didn’t just grow, it expanded into something borderless.

Today, AV isn’t just a technical requirement. It is the experience.
